Memory Lane...31º

Bobi's Blog yesterday took me back many years when I clicked on Wichita Lineman and then watched Glen Campbell saying farewell...Herb must have collected all of his "8-tracks" and we took many trips to the strains of Wichita Lineman and Rhinestone Cowboy...Then as "Glen" called them he went into his crazy years became addicted to heroin and alcohol, married 3 times and had 5 children...With the help of his last wife Tina, he finally turned his life around before being diagnosed with Alzheimer's...Watch this Glen Campbell farewell for the complete story.

I promised photo's of the oatmeal cookies so here they are along with buns I made yesterday for our dinner of Ruben Sandwiches...Yesterday was a beautiful sunny day so I enjoyed clearing snow off the deck and sidewalks while Herb plowed with the four-wheeler...Gave both of us some much needed time in the sun and fresh air...Hugs To All...OWAV:)

PS...If you are still dipping cookies one at a time you must try shaping the dough into logs and "chunking" them off in pieces...They don't bake in perfect circles but still taste the same and soooo much easier. :)
