Cook and Eat..34º

When Rusty gets home I spend even more time in the kitchen, food is everywhere, then like invisible ink or the blink of an eye, it disappears and I have to start all over again...I think we have enough leftovers to get us through breakfast this morning.

Wednesday morning Rusty and Herb cleaned the Chimney and  John, Becky and Pam joined us for dinner that night, always a fun evening...We had roast beef, mashed potatoes/gravy, coleslaw, hot rolls, dolmas and huckle/apple pie ala mode for dessert...Leftovers? Not much.

Added a few more spuds for our meal.

Yesterday Rusty started on a project of recovering two deck chairs, found on a dump pile...He did the cutting, I started the sewing...Upstairs, downstairs, back and forth until he finished the cutting and took over the sewing while I fixed dinner...Herb had spent the morning putting our watering system away for the winter...After dinner Rusty was off with John to sight in their guns and H & I collapsed in our chairs.

One done, one to go.

On the agenda today, yard saling with Pat...Then do we work on the other chair, make one final jar of sauerkraut or harvest the potatoes and plant the garlic or prune apple trees?..Wonder what we are having for dinner?
