It is hard for me to get excited about Christmas without snow and small children...We've had our family celebration this year and I'm happy with that but think I should at least put up the little fake tree that we have and add a few lights to the front porch...I decorated the front porch last year and a wind storm made short work of that, as it turned everything upside down, broke some things, leaving remnants scattered everywhere.
So I looked back through photos' of years gone by and found a few "Real" Christmas trees from years ago...Trees that we stomped through the snow to find, cut down and brought home to decorate...Good thing we did it back then because no way is it going to happen now and that is okay, we have the memories!...Hugs To All...OWAV:)
First Christmas tree in our own house, in New Meadows, Idaho |
Christmas's in Duchesne Utah, a cedar or pinon pine |
One of our first trees in Joseph, with a bajillion trees to choose from, we found a "Charlie Brown tree" |
After Charlie Brown, I decided "Yellow Pine" was the way to go. A tree like this graced our living room for many years and we added more decorations as the years went by! |
