Party...40º

Just added more flour to the sourdough starter for the third day in a row...Looks like a good day to make bread...No appointments, no meetings, no deadlines...I have soup in the freezer for our dinner, so will plan rolls or fry bread to eat with it...Simple food.

Rusty arrived home safe and sound and doesn't plan another trip this way until after the first of the year...Pat and Brian boarded a plane this morning, so we won't be having any adventures for awhile...Will connect with Bobi today on Facetime and catch up on their news...Looks like a quiet time in the Allen household this month.

Yesterday I made matinee reservations for Pam, Herb and I on Christmas day at the Elgin Opera House to see Irving Berlin's "White Christmas"...Should be a fun day!

The surprise for Pat's birthday went off well yesterday at our weekly Write People...She was surprised and pleased as we celebrated her birthday early, wished her a safe trip and Merry Christmas all in one!...Hugs To All...OWAV:)
