Hot, Smoky, Red Sun...58º

Our heat wave continues, Hurricane Creek Fire put up huge smoke clouds as we left Enterprise last evening after the Thursday night concert, Imnaha Fire is still burning...All of this is in our tiny corner of the world in Wallowa County...The Columbia Gorge fire is still spreading and many more fires are burning in the West.

We enjoyed the lively western music last night, provided by "The Wasteland Kings"...It had everyone tapping toes and one teenage girl danced most of the evening, first with who we assumed was her grandmother and then by herself in her own little world.

Homeward on Hurricane Creek Road

In other news, Cienna arrived safely in Thailand...Rotarians and "new friends" were there with flowers and a huge sign welcoming Cienna Ashton Wall to Thailand...Her incredible journey has begun in earnest...Hugs To All...OWAV:)
