Friendship, near and far...9º

Only a few of us at Book Group yesterday as we started back from a 6 month vacation...Not a vacation from reading, only from meeting and discussing..."Crooked Letter, Crooked Letter," a book set in the south, probably in the 50's/60's about discrimination, racism, hate, love, murder, abuse, misunderstandings and poverty...Not a happy read but one that sparked much discussion and thought.

Pat and I had one last visit at our favorite "watering hole" Arrowhead Chocolates, where we sipped our mochas and talked about her winter in Maryland/Florida and mine here in Wallowa County...Even though we are separated by the miles, we continue to stay in touch via FaceBook and texting on a daily basis...Happy for our friendship, long distance or at home...Hugs To All...OWAV:)

How we look after a small mocha, 

milk chocolate (two spoons dipped), skim milk, decaf, 

whipped cream on top.
