Herb's hearing aids arrived yesterday when Tom brought them to our house, programed them on his computer, then fine tuned them after Herb had worn them for about an hour as we visited, tried talking over the sound of running water, behind his back etc...Now we are on our own for the next week as Herb starts the adjustment back into the world of clearer hearing...We have extra batteries, two sizes of ear domes, wipes to keep the ear wax cleaned off and Tom's cell phone number if any problems arise.
Rusty arrived back from Jim Creek about 4pm, we dined on "Goat Stew" and cornbread before he left to join John and Becky (home for a few days over the long weekend) at Terminal Gravity...Herb and I were in bed early and the only way I know Rusty is home is the sound of snoring coming from the upstairs bedroom....
