Windy yesterday afternoon, thought the snow might really add up but not yet...More snow in the forecast and hope it materializes with the sled dog trials on schedule for the last week of January and of course we need the mountain snowpack.
Rusty will leave for his home in Bend today, take care of things there and then 10 days vacation in Vietnam...Right now he is not sure of when his next job with LTW will be, but always manages to keep busy.
He and I had another card playing marathon last night, taking turns in the lead...Herb's Dad taught both kids to play cards when they spent time with him in the summers...Dad loved to play cards and he was quite good at it, after soundly beating the kids, he would quietly explain some of his strategy so they could improve their game...It was always fun for them catching him with a loaded hand as they played their last card and "went out".
I will give Herb a much needed haircut today spend time sewing on a project and get ready for a busy week with Big Read events and a planning meeting for Mule Days...Hugs to all..... OWAV:)
