Cave Creek...53º

What a day we had on Saturday....Our condo was small but it was jam packed with stuff that the four of us managed to haul in...By 10am checkout we had the cars packed with suitcases and coolers of cold and frozen groceries...We left our Subaru at the Cibola Vista parking lot under the shade of a leafless tree. ):..With Jerry at the wheel we headed toward the Peoria ballpark looking for yardsale signs...Not many good yardsales so we arrived at the BP at 11:30am, games start at 1pm...We were commandeered in the parking lot by a scalper with tickets, front row tickets on the Mariners side, behind the dugout, for cheaper than the box-office...Jerry pulled out a $100.00 bill and the way we went...Checked through security and scanned our tickets...Whew they were legal.

Found our seats, the sun blazing overhead...Back down to the concession area where we joined a couple at a shaded table...While visiting with them (Mother and Son) we learned that he was representing the Cancer Survivors Organization and would be throwing out the first pitch...Herb and Jerry found the sausage dogs for our lunch and we visited away the next hour with these interesting people He from Alaska and his Mom from Seattle.

It was a sunny beautiful day and an exciting game...Mariners were winning when we left at the top of the 9th and claimed our car at CV then headed North to Cave Creek...We got settled into the CC condo, lots of room with two bedrooms, living room, full kitchen, our own private hot tub...After a relaxing soak we baked a frozen pizza, made a green salad, relaxed for a short time and went to bed...Photo's tomorrow....Hugs To All...OVAW:)
