Indian Summer is back...40º

Warm days and warm nights just in time for the opening of deer season...Not good cooling weather at all, so Herb is biding his time looking for the elusive buck...We haven't seen any bucks this summer only does with twin fawns that cavort in the fields, running and jumping with abandon and sneaking into the yard at night to graze on our flowers.

Yesterday while Rusty worked on 4-wheelers and Herb mowed lawns, I grated purple cabbage for sauerkraut and jarred the last of the sweet pickles...I still have apples to peel and slice for the freezer, then I should be done with perserving food for awhile.

I was really lazy about cooking yesterday so we had sausage patties and corn pancakes with applesauce and/or huckleberry topping...Russ and I played cards last night trying to stay awake passed 9pm.

Cienna is back at her host home in Nakhon Pathom...Read her blog posts at Cienna, where she has photos as well...Hugs To All...OWAV:)

Sentimental Sunday....Hugs to Cienna.
