Christmas Day dawned with bare ground all around, no white Christmas this year...I spent the morning making lemon meringue pie, Rusty watched as I rolled out the pie crust them he grated lemon peel and juiced the lemons, while I started on the filling and meringue...Chatted with Bobi to wish them all a merry Christmas and since we had our Christmas at Thanksgiving it was pretty much just a normal day in Joseph...I did get back to my bag project and finished it.
Pam arrived about 4pm, visited as we had a glass of wine, then we sat down to a simple dinner of steak, salad, baked potatoes and of course Lemon Pie for dessert...
The steak was melt in your mouth wonderful...It came from the beef that all of our family shared in the cost, as a Christmas gift for one another...A practical gift that will keep giving throughout the year...Hugs to all,.....OWAV:)
