Is the Christmas Spirit going to hit this year?....Remember the Christmas eves' of childhood when you were eager to climb in bed and the night sped by as you dreamed of reindeer, Ho Ho Ho's, Presents under the tree and the Jolly Fat Man...Or when you had children of your own with eye's wide on Christmas morning when they tiptoed from bedroom to living room whispering, peeking, then to your bedroom as you groggily opened one eye, looked at the clock and thought, I just got to bed!..

What are these kids doing awake already!!! Then the "Spirit" took over, out of bed to watch as toys were admired, presents unwrapped and another Christmas Day unfolded, maybe with new sleds, when after breakfast a snowy trip to find an appropriate hill, grandparents included we all took turns until fingers and toes begged to go home...Food, Laughter, Games, Family and Love all rolled into one...That is the Spirit...AND I've already had that this year...Soooooo yesterday I whipped up a batch of fondant to make mints for Christmas and then before I washed the pan I started a batch of fudge...The fondant is light and fluffy like new fallen snow and the fudge as creamy as a babys complection...
