Not much happening on Barton Heights so will reminisce about years long ago...Hugs To All...OWAV:)

In 1973 we moved from Utah to Oregon.  Oregon grows and ships Christmas trees to all parts of the United States. Our first year here I wasn't able to go look for a tree and this is the one we decorated.

Rusty went with his Dad to get a tree and when Rusty saw my face he said, almost in tears "you should have seen the one he wanted to bring home."  But as Herb always said, "It will be just fine when you get it decorated!" And it was. We called it our "Charlie Brown Tree" and celebrated Christmas in our new home.

After that year I always went on the Christmas tree hunt and for many years this is the kind of tree we decorated.  A seven foot tall bushy yellow pine decorated with home made ornaments and an angel for the top that was hand crocheted by my Mom.
