Comfort Food...7º cloudy/sunny

I always reach for comfort food this time of year with the change to colder weather...Last weeks menus focused on just that...Chile topped with diced onions, grated cheese and a dab of sour cream...Sourdough biscuits, fresh from the oven, covered with sausage gravy, finger steaks with a fruit salad and today looks like a soup day as I use up leftovers from the past week...I have book group this morning so will chop, slice and dice and leave the soup to simmer until I get home sometime after noon...I think fresh cornbread will taste good!...Hugs To All...OWAV:)
