Leftovers...38º

Cleaning the fridge of leftovers, lamb roast and gravy, adding mushrooms, roasted tomatoes, broth from the freezer and finally diced fresh carrots, potatoes, onions and celery, a lamb stew simmered away on the stove top...Since it was a busy day for all of us, (Rusty doing 3 weeks of laundry, Herb adding more layers to the garden before winter sets in and I doing my docent stint at the Josephy Center) we helped ourselves to stew whenever we felt hungry...Late evening we sipped a glass of wine and caught up on each others day before declaring it time for bed, no matter what the clock said!
