A Beautiful Morning...58º

Outside early this morning to start the irrigation water on the front flower beds...Not so many blooms right now but still colorful foliage...I've learned to appreciate the foliage on plants and don't cut them to ground level unless they are starting to dry up and "their season" is almost over...I took a few photos in the morning sunlight.

I'm trying to tidy things up a bit, for the small ((I hope) group of ladies coming to view the vegetable garden tomorrow,  and learn about no till, amending soil, drip irrigation etc...Also that gardening is therapeutic and satisfying, in spite of the hard work that comes along with it.

Rusty helped me in the garden yesterday, digging and removing stray raspberry plants, taming the asparagus that grows into the main garden path and giving the potatoes a good soaking of water.

We went to the weekly music program on the court house lawn in enterprise last evening...Fiddle music from the instructors at the Wallowa Fiddle Camp...A big crowd and some bored children, not at all interested in the music, and their parents finally took them to a different part of the lawn, to play!..Hugs To All...OWAV:)
