Summer Fishtrap...64º

It is warm already this morning, we have fans going, windows open getting in all the cool breezes before we close everything up for the day...Yesterday was very warm...We sat on the deck early morning, had a surprise visit when Pat, Brian and Debbie...They stopped by bringing iced mocha's for each of us...They were celebrating as Brian had just taken them for a flight over the valley, his first with passengers after getting his pilots license...What a thrill!

Herb kept busy changing water and Rusty started soup bones in the oven making a stew for our dinner...I again on the deck, leg up, ice pack in place...We all stayed relatively cool until late afternoon then turned the sprinklers on near the deck which gave us a cooling effect...Then the clouds built up, the thunder rolled and a rain storm was upon us...We made a quick exit into the house had our dinner and were soon back outside.

Today I must get ready for Fishtrap, it starts with registration this afternoon, dinner and then some of the presenters (teachers) will give speeches...Not sure how late I will stay...I started this post 3 hours ago, since then we've sprayed liquid deer fence, Herb spraying, me pointing out the buds, he fixed our breakfast and I was ready to go outside when the thunder started and a hugh black cloud is covering the mountains and moving this way, looks like we are in for another storm....Hugs to All  OWAV:)
