Mostly sunny today... A day in Imnaha seems perfect...The elevation is much lower there than in Joseph and is only 30 miles away...A fellow writer has a rustic cabin next to Big Sheep Creek, her home away from home...A place to write, relax, entertain friends, enjoy an early spring and later in the year pick black berries from the wild vines, fruit from her own small orchard and veggies from the garden...Beaver threatened this winter when she arrived one day to find trees gnawed on and others on the ground...Chicken wire around the bases of trees discouraged the animals, for now they have gone looking for another home.
We call it a "girls day"...Girls at heart that is...Today we will sample wines and pair it with fruit, cheese, crackers, chocolate and other potluck dishes for a gourmet lunch...Conversation will flow and depending on the weather we may go for a short walk...Don't know how much reading or writing will be accomplished but a good time will be had by all...Friends enjoying friends...Hugs To All....OWAV:)
