The quiet is almost deafening this morning...Not a whisper, not a breeze, nothing stirring...The weather forecast is predicting "calm wind" for this afternoon, possible rain...Many trees are down in Wallowa County, don't know what other damage was caused...The "tree companies" will be very busy and we are looking at our tree along our driveway that "a company" was supposed to look at and give us a bid to remove two months ago...Never showed....With the hard winds of yesterday it is leaning precariously over our neighbors drive way...Call a company? but I know what they will say..."Lady, we can put you on the list, you have one tree, others have MANY trees...Do we hope the tree doesn't fall, before "a company" has time to do the job, or do we ask "Our Friend" to fall the tree and Herb and I clean up the mess, while our neighbor is out of town for the next two weeks, a perfect time to take care of it...Todays quandry...What to do, what to do???
