Shopping Experience...33º

7AM straight up Herb and I were in the "in" door at Safeway, along with several other Seniors...Herb pushed the cart, I, list in hand, filled the cart... We made it through the produce section and into the meat aisle, and onto the dairy, before I realized we had missed the "power ade."...It wasn't a must have but it was on sale, reason enough to backtrack...We didn't get yelled at, but probably should have, BUT on the other hand, why would 3 safeway employees be in the "juice" aisle stocking shelves?..Actually I feel bad for them and us, they are under pressure from management, we are under pressure to follow new rules, stay safe and make sure we have everything in the way of groceries to last until next week...I checked the time as we exited the "out" door, headed to the car, We were in the store for about 45 minutes, spent close to $100.00 and saved $39.00...We yelled at no one and no one yelled at us!

The sanitizing, sorting for the freezer, refrigerator, cellar and panty all takes time and can be confusing...It was 10AM before we sat down to breakfast of peanut butter toast and fruit...We were more tired, than if we had loaded a cord of wood!

It was a rainy day, so we had a good excuse to do nothing...Dinner was easy because somehow a pizza got loaded into our cart, so much for eating healthy.

About 4pm the sun came out and I found myself outside digging in the dirt, dividing, transplanting, deadheading, relaxing, the best I had felt all day...Hugs to All...OWAV:)

PS...Photos don't do justice to how beautiful our little spot is with a bajillion daffodils blooming.
