Balmy...47º

Awake at 4am this morning...Our bedroom felt warm even with the window cracked open...Coffee was perking as I checked the outside thermometer to find a balmy 47º a light rain, breezy...Todays high is supposed to be 37º...Looks like we better enjoy, because the forecast is calling for snow and below 0 temperatures by Tuesday night...Our kids arrived home safe and sound and we are snug and warm here on Barton Heights...So much to be thankful for.

From log deck to stacked in the backyard

Back to our routine, I have an essay to complete for Katey, menus to plan for the week and possibly some sorting of drawers and cupboards to rid our house of the clutter that I am so good at accumulating...My usual Tuesday "Write People" is on the calendar and an envelope stuffing on Wednesday for "FishTrap"...Then on Saturday night Pam and I will attend the annual Christmas Concert and Dinner, by Gail Swart, at the Wallowa Lake Lodge...This night out is a gift from Pat and Brian, who by the way are in full swing, clear across the country, with the Christmas Season at "Applewood Farm" in Maryland...Brian chatted in yesterday and gave us a full tour, via iPad of the Farm as they opened the Christmas Season with blue skies and Santa and Mrs. Claus making their annual appearance...He promised to give us a nighttime tour of the light displays at a later date...Something to look forward to...Hugs To All...OWAV:)

PS...Below is a photo of one of the puzzles completed during our Thanksmas celebration.
