We traveled to La Grande yesterday on bare, mostly dry roads...The storm they had predicted for Thursday is now supposed to come in today after 10am with possible 3 to 7 inches of snow...I say let it snow as long as it clears off for Christmas day and our trip to the Elgin Opera House and a matinee of "Guys and Dolls."
We left Joseph at 6:30am yesterday allowing extra time in case we did have bad roads...In La Grande by 8am worked just right as we were able to do our Walmart shopping before the crowds arrived and easily make our 9am appointments.
After the eye appointments we did the bulk of our shopping at BiMart (much prefer it to WM) then on to grocery outlet before lunch at Bear Mountain Pizza...Herb wanted to browse at D & B before we started home and I a brief stop at the "Amish store" for dried beans...It was a good trip but it wears both of us out...Early to bed for a good nights sleep...Hugs To All...OWAV:)
