Wednesday started early, Dusty tried to get the shower finished, but it is going to take another day with so many loose ends to finish and some plumbing problems...Deep breath.
Herb made a trip to Enterprise, grocery store and the dump...Rusty and I picked the cucumbers, dill and grape leaves...I fixed a taco/egg scramble for our breakfast and with renewed energy we spent our time making jam/jelly (2 double batches) and dill pickles from our very own cucumbers...These things kept the 3 of us busy, gathering all the jars, lids etc, measuring sugar, cooking berries and or juice then ladling it into the scalding jars...I managed to ice my knee off and on during the day...4 large zucchini's were found lurking in the garden so Herb and Rusty ground onion, peppers and zucchini to get the relish salted and set overnight to be cooked and jarred this morning.
Dusty called it a day at 4pm, not wanting to "screw" something up as he was frustrated and tired...Herb got beers for everyone and we all headed to the deck for some much needed refreshment...Pat joined us and admired the new shower.
The new shower got a good workout last night and we all had a good nights sleep...Now I must get moving...Hugs to all...OWAV:)
