Balmy....38º

Rain overnight with more rain/snow forecast into next week, then some nice spring days right around the corner...After our 5" of snow on Monday, I salvaged a bouquet of daffodils...Many of them had been so weighted down with snow and ice that they lay flat on the ground, no chance of standing up again...They are happy in our warm house and the buds continue to open more each day...We have spring inside if not out!

Our Walla Walla trip was good, roads bare, some sunshine and lovely blooms in every direction as we drove through Milton Freewater and on into Walla Walla...We did some shopping, had breakfast and more shopping...Herb's dental appointment didn't take long but we have to return in June for a follow up...Two road trips in one week is more than enough for both of us and we hit the pillow early last night...Wonder why we were both up before 4am this morning?

I plan to put a chuck roast in the oven today when I leave to spend the afternoon at the Josephy Center...An easy meal to put on the table when I get home and leftovers on Saturday after the play at the Elgin Opera House...That's life on Barton Heights...Hugs To All...OWAV:)
