Sunday/Monday...30º

Couldn't go wrong with the forecast yesterday...We had sunshine, rain, hail, sleet, wind and at times a raging blizzard lasting ten minutes at the most...A skiff of snow remains this morning as a reminder and more "showers" are expected today...I focus on the sunny times and the awaking of the flower beds as things push bravely out of the ground.

I started spaghetti sauce early yesterday after cleaning the fridge freezer...Things that at one time were worth saving, now were hiding under layers of frost, freezer burned and inedible...A few were the base for the sauce but most things ended up in the garbage...Herb helped by lifting the heavy drawer, vacuuming under the fridge and hauling those unnamed packages to the trash can...I vow again to use the leftovers in a timely manner!..We did more house cleaning chores and with the smell of spaghetti sauce wafting through the house we relaxed for the rest of our Sunday...Pam stopped by late afternoon visit  on her way to paint wine glasses for the upcoming Art Festival.

Talked with Rusty in Boise, where he was grocery shopping and resting up from a long week of working cattle...Bobi and Ci reported in from Portland, they also were resting up after a busy week...Cienna finished her second practice as she learns how to row a Dragon Boat on the Willamette River...This week coming up I finish handwriting analysis, fix food and serve at the first ever tea party held at the Josephy Center and Herb might be helping John move stock back out to Chico for spring pasture...Life is good...Hugs To All...OWAV:)
