Walla Walla...Relish...57º---75º

Trip to Walla Walla was fun, stopped at Edwards' fruit farm, choosing fruits and vegetables to pick up on our way home...Next stop Andy's, the "Seventh Day Adventist Store" in College Place...Pat was in awe of the huge produce department and the bulk food selection and is excited about taking Brian there on their next trip to W.W...Next stop WalMart for odds an ends that are not available in Wallowa County...We lunched at the "Green Spoon", Pat and I split a "BLAT" bacon, tomato, avocado and lettuce, chips and salad on the side...LeaAnn had the lamb burger with a special cucumber/yogurt sauce...While Pat was at her appointment, LeaAnn and I perused the book store and visited non-stop...Trip home was uneventful...Pat will be making more trips to the periodontist this fall...Bummer!

I must move now, Herb is grinding zucchini, onions and peppers for relish...Then I will be chopping tomatoes, peppers, onions, garlic etc for salsa...it is time to slice the brining cukes and make them into sweet pickles...Love this time of year...~OWAV:)
