It was a full day with PT early, then book group and discussion on "The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks"...Interesting read with discussion around moral and ethnic issues and the rights that labs and Drs. have to any cells taken from a patient body...Next months read is "Angle of Repose"...This is a favorite of some people in book group, personally I've tried to read it a couple of times, not sure I will try it again!
Quick trip to the grocery then home to meet with Nick as it was time to siphon the IPA into another sterilized carboy, leaving the yeasty dregs behind so it can finish its fermentation settling out more of the yeast particles and finally in another 2 weeks we will bottle it and leave it another week before drinking.
Herb and I had a dinner of stir fry, then I made another batch of fondant added mint flavor and have it stored in the fridge along side lemon and orange...The second batch of fudge came out creamy and soft, now divided into 1pound packages and stored in the freezer.
Wind is still blowing and is supposedly at the end of the storm...Temperature is supposed to drop now and maybe snow!..Hugs to All...OWAV:)
